> Business Venture

IMRA contributed to the creation of ARECO, its spin-off Company specialized in Air Refreshing Control.
ARECO, founded in Grasse by a former staff member of IMRA, is exploiting a humidification technology using high frequency ultrasonic waves. This technology was originally developed by IMRA in collaboration with a local company, Techsonic, for automobile applications. Ultimately it was in the typically French domains of food and perfume industries that ARECO found promising applications and is now enjoying a continuous expansion.

Among the technologies transferred:

    • ATHEBES and BTHEBES thermal simulation software transferred to Ecole des Mines Energetic Center.

> Research & education support

IMRA supports the works of several European University laboratories in France, the U.K., Spain, Italy, Germany, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland and contributes to the education of researchers through PhD funding.

> Human network
